What is your favorite thing about your hair?
My favorite thing about my hair is that it’s long. As a dancer, very often I have to pull my hair in a bun, and having the length allows me to have many versatile styles.
And your least favorite?
My least favorite thing about my hair is that it’s quite frizzy. I wish it could look like I just got a blow out after I wash and dry it, but that’s hard to achieve :)
Do you recall ever being envious of someone else’s hair?
I’ve always been envious of my mom’s hair! She has beautiful, naturally curly hair. My hair is straight and when I was a kid all I wanted was to look like my mom. Her hair is simply amazing and it’s the best accessory one can have.
Do you have any specific regrets or “what was I thinking” moments involving your hair?
The biggest “what was I thinking moment” happened when I decided to dye my own hair and just went to a local drug store and picked up the shade of blonde that I thought would look good. I did save a lot of money, but trust me it was not worth it! So nowadays, I always choose quality hair products and a great hairstylist that knows what they’re doing.
Tell us about your experience taking part in this shoot/campaign! Were you nervous? Was it what you expected?
Taking part in the shoot was simply amazing! I was a bit nervous, but everyone on set was so lovely and positive and made me feel so comfortable. It is such an honor to be a part of a campaign for a brand you truly love and respect. You don’t need to “pretend” to like a product, I use EVOLVh all the time and recommend it to anyone who has hair and don’t see myself switching to another brand!
